This odd and crooked little doodle from a black and white photo of the living room of the little white house my grandparents lived in right after getting married.(It was drawn in a Moleskine with Pitt pen then watercolored.). The house was tiny and right between both of
their parents' houses. Considering that she had six younger sisters and his mom ... well let's just say she must have been the mother in law from hell.
They were married for forty four years though. Only the first year was in the little house and eventually they built a house waaaaay on the other side of town. Smart folks.
There's also a chair that went with it, I have that chair in my living room. Note to self: Draw the chair too, silly.
